After two successful editions, Bangalores biggest metal fest returns! Bangalore Open Air is set to take the city by storm on the 13th of September, 2014 at Counterculture. In a bid to keep metal alive in India, BOA brings some of the best metal bands together to spread happiness among ardent metalheads. BOA 2012 and 2013 saw bands like Kreator, Iced Earth, Dark Tranquility and Demonic Resurrection taking the stage. Delhi-based band Euphoria has released a new single ‘Walk On’ which inspires people to chose a healthier lifestyle. Released on Universal Music, ‘Walk On’ was created especially for Nasscom’s Active Commuting initiative. The song advocates a simple thought of avoiding motorized transport and switching to alternate travelling options like walking, cycling or using public transport. The song speaks about how we should look at the brighter side of things and walk on through this beautiful journey called life. Skyharbor have released their brand new single ‘Evolution‘ from their latest album – the follow-up to Blinding White Noise, which hasn’t been named yet. Speaking about the single Skyharbor says, “Evolution pretty much sums up the journey weve been on. Refuge is embarking on a 3-city tour, starting on the 12th of June 2014. Performed by a quartet and drawing on jazz, classical and folk music from various parts of the world, Refuge is a set of musical themes with unity at its focus. The music is composed and arranged by pianist Aman Mahajan. Written over the last decade, and equal parts structured and improvised, the music is imagined as an underscore to the journey were all making together.
